Timbertale Designs (formerly The Farmhouse Lifestyle), a furniture brand with a decade-long heritage of craftsmanship in the Philippines, hit a rough patch. Despite their extensive experience, the company was experiencing a significant decline in business, pushing them to the brink of closure. The owner entrusted us with a rebrand, hoping it would give the business one last shot — and it did.

Timbertale Designs continues to thrive today, an evidence of how transformative  visual branding can be for a business.

Timbertale Designs elevates reclaimed wood and antique furniture into exquisite pieces, embodying beauty and durability.  Their mission is to enrich homes with warmth and character, while contributing to environmental sustainability.

In a market often saturated with brands whose names simply state their offerings ('wood,' 'furniture'), conveying a sense of mere utility, Timbertale Designs stands apart. It was my genius copywriter partner, Greggy, who proposed the name 'Timbertale Designs,' perfectly capturing the brand's mission: we don't just repurpose wood. Instead, we design each piece with a story in mind. We distinguish ourselves through imaginative, locally-crafted designs that possess global appeal, a conscious approach to sustainability, and designs that celebrate the authentic character and history of the wood itself with meticulous attention to detail, breathing new life into old timber and new homes.

For the logo, I wanted to create a mark that communicates both the brand's commitment to functionality and its sustainable aspect. The final design features a minimalist, premium aesthetic where the brand's initials, 'TT,' are cleverly integrated to form the silhouette of a table. This visual not only clearly represents their core product, but also speaks to the practical, enduring quality of their craftsmanship. The logo's clean lines and solid structure subtly convey durability, a key aspect of their sustainable practice of transforming reclaimed wood into long-lasting pieces.
